Tea Dance's
Starting soon in Leigh we hope to be able to announce our first of
what we hope will be weekly afternoon 'Tea Dances'
offering refreshments, great company and of course
a chance to get up and have a Waltz, Jive, Foxtrot ,Tango.....
Scholes Dementia Friendly
Our initial project with Wigan council comes to an end very shortly with our
World War 1 event.
However this is not the end of our commitment to Wigan Council and
our new friends in Scholes.. we hope to be able to confirm more workshops very soon.

We are now working in partnership with another great
local based service who provide fantastic opportunities
Just BU C.I.C
Fusion C.I.C is developing a wider range of activities, providing
more options and further opportunities .
These include :
Fusion 'Pop-Up' Disco's
Afternoon events which will be accessible to under 18's
Fusion @ Wigan FM
A regular 'Live' broadcast via the community radio station
planned & presented by local people
- this could be YOU-
with & without a disability playing music YOU want
and talking about issues YOU feel are important.
We will also be looking for guest's who have something to say
about our local community .
Do you want to be a part of #TeamFusion ?
You will play a part in planning our events, including
design flyers, event theme's, where and when these
events should take place, distributing flyers, and generally
making sure everyone within our community knows what
we are doing and when.....
We celebrate our 1st year on Sept 30th with a very special party details follow soon!

Through Wigan Council's
Dementia Friendly Scholes Project -
Working with the local community to ensure people with Dementia
are understood, respected and supported,
and can contribute to community life.
We have so far delivered a variety of workshops at the
Central Day Centre Scholes.
